12designer will be attending to Crowdconvention (www.crowdconvention.com), the first convention about crowdsourcing ever made in Europe. As part of our participation there, we want to show the attendants how successful and talented a creative community could be; that’s why we’re publishing this design project.

thanks for pushing ;-)

As stated in the brief, the core group are young professionals and business people, regardless of sex. We assume there could be more men than women, but we don't want to focus in one group, as we clearly marked in the target audience graphic.

Regarding your other question, we don't think it's a black-or-white question. Crowdconvention needs a mug that talks about the spirit of the business convention, the crowd, and of course, a design that tells the person "take me with you, to your ordinary life". Subtle or wooden hammer, it's the design who chooses one way or another, not us in the brief ;)

Again - is it mainly men attending? Do you mainly want to communicate a message, subtle or wooden hammer? Or do you want to have a mug that people will actually use and love?

Subtle messages do not usually make for a mug that stands out in the office kitchen....

Can you by now specify a tad more what you are looking for? Really colorful illustrations don't seem to hit home...

Is it mainly men that will receive the mugs? Are you looking for a toned-down concept, something subtle or the proverbial wooden hammer?

We extended the project for a week in order to get proper and coordinated feedback.

BTW, printing method will be by sublimation :)

First of all, thanks for the ideas! Before we give out some extra stars, we want to talk first with the CrowdConvention guys... because they might have something to rate, too ;-)

Sieh zu, dass Du Euren Entwurf aufmöbelst..... ohne Afro passt der perfekt. Und im Zweifelsfall freue ich mich über ein virtuelles Bier. :)
