Superstar DJ, here we go!: new Sound & Multimedia category

"What the duck do you mean?" might be a thought that crosses through your mind at this very right moment. Some of you may be sticked with the DJ-thing, but that's not the point. No, really. We're creatives, but not that much ;-) 

What means, the point is the new 12designer's category: Sound & Multimedia.

We've been online as a platform for a year already (in English for almost 10 months, ok, you've got a point there), and we were born as a crowdsourcing design platform. That means, logos, flyers, business cards, posters... all around graphic and web design. We started to grow, and with us, our clients. Their needs growed too: where a logo for a new business was needed, they realized that they might need a name before. Or a claim. He. 

Therefore, we drawed up a plan. Our goal: to evolve from a design platform into a communication and creativity platform. That's not a redundancy, there's an intentional difference. Communication is based in three things: image, word and sound. Image was there with graphic design: right. That's why we opened our "concepts and communication" category, to welcome those naming and slogan projects in our way to achieve the meeting point where we arrived today: a whole communication offer where design, text and multimedia issues can be effectively solved.

What to we mean with sound & multimedia? Just imagine. From complete radiospots to computer games effects, from professional voiceovers to corporate melodies, telephonic waiting messages or even sound effects for a website. Or a professional slideshow with voiceover, a screencast, a professional web video... Yep, that's right: that's quite a target we're aiming to ;-) We do believe that creativity goes beyond terms and labels. So, why be stacked just at a field, when your creativity talks in each project by itself, and says, you're always breaking the limits?

It seems interesting. Translating this kind of job from designers to musicians is a great decision! -and the reason I've created my account at 12designers! ;)
