...my lover, goodbye my friend. Yeah, we deeply apologize ourselves for using a James Blunt lyric, but hey, we have to say goodbye to something.
That departing friend is our E-mail notifications. At least, they will disappear as we know them.
Submitted by Your12designerTeam on 23.09.10, 12:30Last week, we announced the big news: 12designer's creative categorization according to their experience level in the platform. Those creative experience statuses are of course just intended to track user activity at 12designer, and every single creative received their status, which could be: Newbie, Junior, Promise, Senior and Expert.
As you could imagine, this way of sorting creatives out is not casual. There's no bureaucratic-organizing-delirious eagerness behind it... by now, at least ;-) We created them because they're necessary to launch our new project type: 12premium.

Every day we've got the same smile on our faces: computers on, look at our Community, their messages, their input, their fresh ideas, their talented approach to hard communication issues... We have a lovely pandemonium where passion and professionalism fight and love each other every day, in every project.
We always said: a good idea shall always prevail. That's a fact. But it is also true, that a 23-year-old trainee may not have the same ideas as an experienced Art Director, with Photoshop-wounded fingers. In order to match and sort these differences, and therefore to offer you new features, we've created our 12designer's user experience status.

Yeah, we know how Summer is. Everybody disappears on a huge holiday, nobody answers work-related E-mails... Everybody, nobody? Not always. There are some people that never pull the brake, and they move forward exactly when everyone else is chilling and relaxing. No, we're not talking about us, we're talking about all those entrepreneurs that will spend July and August moving forward their business idea. Yeah, that idea we all had, and we never achieved to launch. Nor tried.
We don't want good ideas to vanish away, so, here we are, planning an event in the middle of July. Life and glory are for those who say, we shall not fear.

Some do even like good movies, good literature, or yet more, some are fans of a football team that never wins a trophy but plays delightfully (ok, we concede: that's unusual). Point is, we all love good things.
That's why we've stepped forward, and said it loud: yes, we also love good things.

After a year online, being there for free, we have to step forward and show to the world that access to a valuable creative community worths a little spending.
