About 12designerThe new eDreams t-shirt is here!
Remember our post from a couple of weeks ago? Ok, we know it's August and sometimes the sun and the salty air coming from the beach tend to make us forget about some things. Our friends in eDreams wanted to find their new T-shirt design and opened a huge contest through their Facebook page. The idea behind it: a new take-it-everywhere image for a new way of planning your holidays!
Time has passed, August is about to fall and... they've got a result! And as media partner from their contest, we're really really happy to show you the three finalists!

eDreams and a mental world tour
After the terrible summer we're experiencing here in Berlin, we thought about travelling. About getting away from here. Far, far away.
So far, that only the best online travel agency could take us there.
And we talked to eDreams. They didn't have any holiday possibility for us, but we both came together and had another idea. That's why 12designer is media partner with eDreams at their Summer T-shirt Contest!
It might not be a travel, but it's 1000$ worth :o [winner]

Rain will kill our summer, but not 12designer
This is how a summer looks like here, in Berlin.
It shouldn't be like this. We used to have a summer. Really. We still remember to experience what July should be: when we were visiting the bars near to the office, enjoying the peaceful warmth of the sun, emulating how plants make the photosynthesis.
So, we had two clear options to face such a rainy July. One: we get depressed and we cry all along the city. But: we thought Berlin had enough of water as to keep adding our tears. Therefore, we opted for something else: we focused on work. We have been working really hard to develop further the platform, and to provide you with a better user experience.
If we have to stay locked at the office, at least let's try to use the time wisely, we thought. Yeah, we're that kind of people.
So, then, what's new at 12designer?
12designer at a convention, in front of a crowd!
It would be easy just to behave as others do. To stay within our limits, our known region, the space between clients and designers. But we're the kind of guys who always pick the secondary road, because it's more fun than a plain and boring highway.
That's why, when we found out we would be part of Crowdconvention, the first convention about crowdsourcing ever held in Europe, and that our CEO would give a conference, we still thought just being there wasn't enough. That's probably why this happened:

Meet the people who make 12designer tick
12designer is more than just a place for clients to find creatives to get their design work completed.
It is a community.
Designers talk to creatives. Clients talk to creatives. And of course, clients and designers talk to us.
By us, I mean the people that sit under the surface, making sure 12designer runs smoothly.
The people who provide feedback and support with projects, who answer emails and add content and do their best to make sure that at the end of the day, everybody is happy.
But what do you really know about us?

Lovely word, innit?

Ok, you don't even have a slight idea what an escrow is. Let's say, it's a payment method you could suggest to a client in specific projects, where a lot of job still has to be done afterwards, and it provides a payment security to both parties.
