What you should know about 12designer
We're a group of conceptual artists, designers and project managers from the agency world. We know how hard it is not to have a designer around when you need one—and what it feels like to have one on staff when you have no work for them. We wanted to bring designers and clients together at the right time, so we created a site where design projects could be produced quickly and efficiently.
There are some projects you don't need a large agency for, or that need to be done quickly. Doing it yourself isn't always the best option, and that's where 12designer comes in. We bring together designers with great ideas and clients with interesting projects. This way, designers can focus on what they do best—design—and clients enjoy a collaborative process that delivers excellent designs.
Based in Berlin, 12designer connects clients and designers in five languages: German, Spanish, Italian, French and English.
In August 2012, 12designer joined 99designs, the world’s largest online graphic design marketplace. In addition to its new European headquarters in Berlin, 99designs has offices in San Francisco and Melbourne, and a global community of more than 175,000 graphic designers in more than 190 countries. Joining 99designs will enable 12designer to provide enhanced, world-class service to our European customers. Stay tuned!

Meet some of our team members:
Eva Missling Founder and CEO
Eva founded 12designer in October 2008, fascinated by the idea of applying the principle of crowdsourcing to the design sector. As she studied Industrial Engineering, it became clear to Eva that she'd love to work with a smart, cooperative team to build her own company. Before 12designer, Eva gained valuable experience as a senior strategic consultant for internet agencies like Framfab (now known as LBi) and Mediaworx, handling the strategic orientation and branding of internet projects for companies like Postbank and T-Mobile. Eva has lived and worked in Berlin for 5 wonderful years and has a particular passion for art and design.
Giulia Depentor Italian Community Manager
Born near Venice, Italy, Giulia completed a degree in Politics and spent a few years working in Paris and Barcelona before moving to Berlin. Moved by a great passion for writing and journalism, she worked for a local Italian television station, and now she's blogging, writing and editing several online magazines to assist Italians living abroad. Giulia is the newest member to the 12designer team and manages the Italian community and communications.
Eva Köster German Community Manager
After graduating university with a Communication and Marketing degree, Eva (or Eva 2.0, as we like to call her) spent valuable time in Barcelona, where she sharpened her skills working for a couple of online startups, before joining 12designer. Eva is an expert in online marketing and when she's not managing the site's German community, she often plays teacher to the rest of the team, showing us the finer details of keyword analysis and search engine optimisation.
