Running a project
Frequently asked questions around its lifecycle
What is a feedback?
Feedback is designed to help the creative to adapt their proposals at their best to client's brief. Good feedback contains suggestions for improvement and is aimed to produce the desired results. If an idea happens to take the wrong direction, the creative can have this pointed out - otherwise they will waste time for an attempt which doesn't follow the brief. Feedback should always be clearly written and be unambiguous and constructive.
Why is my feedback so important?
The motivation of the creative with 12designer is to gather experiences and to win projects with good proposals, always in connection with client's wishes. Through feedback, creatives are able to find out whether they have captured the right idea. This will help any amendments made to proposals or make new submitted proposals even better. Therefore - the more exact the feedback is, the better the final result will be!
What is a comment?
Comments are always welcome! Every creative may comment on their own or other proposals, give suggestions or point out mistakes. The exchange and mutual feedback among the users serves to improve the quality of the submitted proposals.
What means the proposals' valoration with stars?
Valoration shows to the creatives who is really on the right track. The criteria: Overall, Suitability, Idea and Style. Up to 5 stars can be given pro category. To do so, just place the mouse over the stars and click them.
Just the overall valoration will appear at the project's overview. This valoration shall be changed whenever wanted and does not influence or states any further decisions about choosing a winner.
1 star: No way
2 stars: Quite ok, but still not at the point
3 stars: That's something!
4 stars: Getting closer
5 stars: A possible winner
Can the creatives also evaluate proposals?
Yes. The proposals which are visible to all can be evaluated. You can indicate when you like a proposal. Everyone can look at a proposal and discover what the community thinks of the proposal. So through feedback, clients and creatives can discover what others think about the proposal.
How to check if a proposal is totally original?
Not nice, but possible: a creative does not submit an original proposal, but a copycat. What to do?
If you dubt: ask him/her directly. Creatives are responsible for what they submit!
Check at www.tineye.com if it has been already done (we tried it, and it works, even though not perfectly).
When does a project end?
A project ends when its duration is completed or by choosing a winner. The client may end his/her project before its completion date by choosing a winner. After project ends, the client has 30 days to choose a winner. He can extend his/her project, before ending, 7 days more, by clickng the proper option in "project administration".
